By offering actionable recommendations, highlighting existing resources, and showcasing real-world use cases and activities, the guidance emphasizes that adopting an ethical perspective is the most effective way to prevent costly mistakes.

Since the publication of the AI4People Ethical Framework for a Good AI Society in 2018, AI4People have strongly promoted the start of a broader debate on AI Ethics in Europe, which laid the foundations of the regulatory process. Today it is critical to view AI governance not merely as a regulatory obligation but as an ethical imperative.
